Leader of the Uhuru Movement, and Chairman and founder of the African People’s Socialist Party and the Black is Back Coalition, Yeshitela continues to be on the frontlines of struggle. He is building African-worker controlled institutions, developing ground-breaking political theory, writing countless books and articles, speaking worldwide, fighting for reparations, galvanizing allies, influencing the popular culture and bringing African people together to liberate Africa and all its resources.

In addition to his broadcast and Internet experience, Glen Ford was national political columnist for Encore American & Worldwide News magazine; founded The Black Commentator and Africana Policies magazines; authored The Big Lie: An Analysis of U.S. Media Coverage of the Grenada Invasion (IOJ, 1985); voiced over 1000 radio commercials (half of which he also produced) and scores of television commercials; and served as reporter and editor for three newspapers (two daily, one weekly).

A community leader, Ms. Nwangaza founded and directs Greenville's Afrikan American Institute for Policy Studies, the Malcolm X Center for Self-Determination, and WMXP-FM community radio station, all of which are used to effect the quality of life of African Americans in the community and abroad. As a respected national and international activist, she was the past national co-chair of the Jericho Movement for Amnesty and Freedom of U.S. Political Prisoners, a member of the SNCC-Altanta Project, the National Coalition of Blacks for Reparations in America, and the Coalition to Stop Police Brutality, Not In Our Name Project.
